Make a tasty batch of raspberry coulis to use as a fruity topping for a cheesecake, as a sauce for desserts, to swirl into yogurt or pour over ice cream.
Ingredients for approx 1 litre
- 2 ½ cups of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 15g Raspberry powder or ground down Freeze dried raspberry
- Combine sugar and water and bring to the boil, then simmer until sugar has dissolved.
- Add Raspberry powder whilst still hot, stir until dissolved and cool before serving
- Add Raspberry powder when cold but mix powder in well, to give a fresher raspberry flavour. Strain if needed. Adjust consistency with a little water if desired.
