Shipping & Returns

New Zealand

In New Zealand, delivery is typically 1-3 days from the date of your order, but may be longer for rural addresses.

Australia:

Unless otherwise agreed, shipping to Australia is via Air parcel and delivery timings are 10-14 days but may be longer. If required, delivery can be via courier at an additional cost.

The customer is liable for any duties, local taxes or duties charged.

New Zealand

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Australia

We do not offer returns on Australian orders. In the event the goods are faulty or damaged please contact us immediately or not less than 3 days from the date of delivery.

We currently ship within New Zealand and Australia. If you live outside of these countries or would like to set up a wholesale account for industry supply, please get in touch with us.

FREEZE DRYING

No. Dehydrated fruits are typically sun-dried and preserved using sulphur dioxide. Other dehydrated fruits are soaked in sugar syrups or concentrated deionized apple juice* to increase the dry solids and thus preserve the fruit.

Freeze dried fruit contains no additives, no sugar and no preservatives. It is made by flash freezing the fruit, then introducing it into a refrigerated vacuum chamber where the moisture is removed by applying low heat temperature.

*Deionised apple juice is apple juice with all the flavour and colour chemically stripped to create a concentrated 72 Brix (72% sugar) fruit juice.

The loss of nutrients throughout the process is minimal. Freeze drying is acknowledged as the best form of drying for the preservation of antioxidants in the fruit. The actual levels of antioxidants in freeze-dried fruit are very high due to the level of concentration, making it a good addition to a healthy and balanced diet.

10g of freeze-dried strawberry is made from 100g of fresh fruit. This is the same for Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackcurrants and Blackberries.
