Make a tasty batch of raspberry coulis to use as a fruity topping for a cheesecake, as a sauce for desserts, to swirl into yogurt, or pour over ice cream.
Made with real fruit raspberry powder, this delicious coulis will enhance the flavour of any dish.
INGREDIENTS
Makes approximately 1 litre.
- 2 ½ cups of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 15g real fruit raspberry powder or ground down freeze dried raspberry
METHOD
- Combine sugar and water and bring to the boil, then simmer until sugar has dissolved.
- Add raspberry powder whilst still hot, stir until dissolved
- Cool before serving
OR
- Add Raspberry powder when cold but mix powder in well, to give a fresher raspberry flavour. Strain if needed. Adjust consistency with a little water if desired.
Store in the fridge and add to your breakfast or dessert.
