Raspberry Coulis Recipe | Botanical Ingredients

Raspberry Coulis

Make a tasty batch of raspberry coulis to use as a fruity topping for a cheesecake, as a sauce for desserts, to swirl into yogurt or pour over ice cream.

Ingredients for approx 1 litre

  • 2 ½ cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 15g Raspberry powder or ground down Freeze dried raspberry


  1. Combine sugar and water and bring to the boil, then simmer until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add Raspberry powder whilst still hot, stir until dissolved and cool before serving


  1. Add Raspberry powder when cold but mix powder in well, to give a fresher raspberry flavour. Strain if needed. Adjust consistency with a little water if desired.
